Auditions for All Shook Up Young@Part are now open for registration! 

The recommended age range for participating in this show is 8-13, but these ages are a guideline. Preference in casting will be given to those within this age range.

Show dates: October 16 - 19. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7pm. Saturday & Sunday 1pm.

Rehearsal Dates: Tuesday & Wednesday 4:30PM - 6:30PM; Saturdays beginning in September 10:30AM - 2:30PM

What to Prepare: Please come to the audition with a completed audition form and signed outdate calendar. Please be prepared to sing 16-32 bars of a song from the show! An accompanist will be provided, so please bring sheet music if you can, you also have the option of bringing a track without lyrics. Please be prepared to participate in a dance call for this audition. (If auditioning virtually, please record yourself dancing along to the provided dance materials. These will be posted in late July).You may be asked to do cold reads from the script. 

Please be prepared to stay up to an hour after your indicated arrival time to participate in the dance call.

Show Information: This crowd-pleasing musical is inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley®. It’s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who changes everything and everyone he meets in this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy that’ll have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”

PLEASE NOTE: Video auditions are accepted for this production. Please send a video of yourself singing one of the provided cuts along with a karaoke track to joann@stageworksnj.org by August 3rd at 4:00PM. Include a copy of your headshot and resume and a completed audition form and out date calendar. All accompanying materials must be submitted in order to be considered.
